I received 2 BabyBjorn carriers & initially shunned these bibs as a clever marketing ploy, using IKEA terry squares, and Mothercare muslins as alternatives. Having lost a load of the squares as my son cast them adrift during walks, and faced with washing the dribble-laden carrier after every outing, I eventully bought the bibs & they're well worth it. Designed perfectly, they completely contain the dribble/possets, preventing staining and my 2nd BabyBjorn carrier - despite frequent use - has remained in pristine condition. It's re-sale value when he grows out of it will more than offset the cost of the bibs. The first (bib-less) carrier is quite literally washed-out will be heading for the skip.
