best baby chair I've come across November 17, 2006 loli'smum (uk) 47 out of 47 found this review helpful
I purchased this chair for my 2nd child, after having used a mama's & papa's melino bouncer which was rubbish- no support, both my children used to fall to one side after a couple of minutes.
But the Toddler Rocker has a deep supportive seat which was great from birth, my daughter loves it, and will quite happily doze off in it.
I also love the feature for changing it to a toddler rocking chair, which makes it good value for money- lasts longer than usual 6 months for traditional bouncers. Also means it feels more sturdy as its capable of taking up to 18 kgs, and if big sis does decide to sit in it I'm not worried its going to collapse.
Also has vibrating seat which is good, but no annoying music which I didn't miss-especially with a 2 year old big sister who insists on fiddling with any buttons on these types of toys, usually just as baby has fallen asleep!
Toy bar good too, options to change toys around and use others on it too.
All in all a great buy.
A REALLY FANTASTIC ITEM January 12, 2008 Claire Hall 8 out of 8 found this review helpful
I brought this for use with my second child, and I thought it was brill. the way that it turns into a flat crib was fantastic as it meant that he could fall asleep with the chair vibrations on which worked a treat. My first child lived in a fisher price aquarium cradle swing but my son much preferred this chair and at 16months old he still sits in it and has a bottle of milk. and my three year old uses it as a rocking chair.
My son has been able to climb out of this chair though, when he became more mobile, head first with a bump! but there comes an age when there isnt much that can keep them restrained.
the vibration on my chair did stop working after about 8months but as he was older I didnt really need it any more.
Really easy to put together, but the linkadoos are only attached by velcro so they pull off really easily, but that all added to my sons enjoyment of this chair anyway, as it meant that they could go straight into his mouth..
All in all if I did have another child I would certainly buy this chair again. For the money it cost and the use that it gets it is fantastic..
Fisher-Price Infant-to-Toddler Rocker March 28, 2010 S. Kelly (South Wales, UK) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
Firstly, I have to remark about the price of this item. The cheapest I could find this anywhere was over £40 - about £15 more than it cost me to buy from this seller.
Secondly, I have found this infant-to-toddler rocker one of my best buys ever. I am a grandmother with visiting grandchildren between the ages of 3 months and 5 years. Every one of them has been able to use it comfortably and safely. The back can be raised and lowered easily (from laying to sitting) and it has the added bar, which can be pulled forward to lay it flat enough for the youngest baby.
There are a number of advantages - compared to other bouncers/chairs of this type. The bar and the hanging toys are not too close to the child's face. They are hung low enough for them to be reached properly too by a baby. No screams of frustration there! The fact it rocks and lays almost flat, using the stabilising bar, means a small baby can sleep in it easily. Another saving! Quite frankly, it has taken the place of a number of items I had stored here for my grandchildren to use when visiting. I now have just this one item, which suits all their ages.
The best thing - as far as I am concerned - is that it is raised higher from the floor than most bouncers. No matter how much central heating etc a person has in their home, there is invariably a draught felt at floor level. This rocker lifts the child quite a way from floor-level, so no worries about draughts at all.
I would honestly recommend it to anyone.
A relaxing treat for baby and parents. June 18, 2010 LM Pickup 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I recommend this to any parents who have a baby who refuses to settle themselves. My baby was very reliant on being rocked in my arms which became very tiring, this product helps relieve that as you can use the chair to do the holding and rock it with your hands taking the pressure off your arms and shoulders. An addition is that the vibrations soothe a crying baby. As my baby has gotten older she has learnt how to rock it herself and is loving babbling to herself in the mirror on the play bar.
