Product Description The Symphony Light and Motion Mobile stimulates and develops sight and hearing. With four different fascinating movements, it encourages baby to focus on an object and track it with her eyes. The combination of repetitive circular motion and other alternating movements with objects rising and falling and turning around, maintains babys attention and active observation. In addition, the alternating movement of the colorful liquids in the center, with or without the light, enriches the visual experience. The three different classical music tunes stimulate and develop hearing, bringing baby closer to the world of music and developing her musical skills. The combination of music and visual stimuli also develops coordination between these two senses. Fine Motor Skills -The Symphony Light and Motion Mobile contributes to the development of babys eye muscles. Small babies find it difficult to follow objects with their eyes because of their limited vision and weak eye muscles. Consequently, slow-moving objects encourage babies to follow with their eyes thereby contributing to the strengthening of the eye muscles. Cause and effect -The music box has four buttons and can be used as a musical activity center, encouraging your baby to push buttons cause in order to receive different musical responses effect. Language -Listening to music contributes to the development of language in babies. Both music and language consist of a series of sounds that make up sentences. In the first instance, the sentences are musical and in the second, verbal. In both instances, the brain picks up the series of sounds, organizes them and gives them meaning.

Great toy! August 3, 2007 Belle (Singapore) 9 out of 9 found this review helpful
My 11 week old son started with a hand me down Fisher Price mobile consisting of 4 stars circling round to flashing light and electronic music. He started appreciating mobiles a few weeks back and would move his arms and legs in excitement when he is looking at the Fisher Price mobile. However the simple mobile did not capture his attention for longer than 5 - 10 minutes. I decided to look for another mobile to keep him occupied. Recalling a recommendation on Tiny Love mobiles, I went shopping for one. This model is the latest and has lights and moving liquid part that are absent from the other models. It is quite expensive but I decided to splash on one. It turned out to be a good investment as my son loves it. He is able to spend longer than 20 minutes staring at it while cooing, gurgling and smiling away. It is easy to see why. The mobile consists of several moving parts at varying distances creating visual depth. The soft toys do not just rotate round and round like other mobiles but also rotate on its own separate axis. In the middle is a disc of different coloured water. The visual complexity keeps baby happy for a longer time than the typical mobile. The music is very pleasant even to adults - nothing jarring and sounds like something out of a CD rather than tacky electronic music. There are 3 pieces: mozart, bach and nature (birds chirping and gushing stream). This must be the rolls royce of baby mobile at the moment! A worthy investment for parents who want to have some free time and to give babies good stimulation at the same time.
Brilliant! November 6, 2007 Lisa (UK) As soon as my little boy hit 3 months he loved this toy and would spend ages chatting to them as they moved about - infact he would completely ignore me for a laugh with his 'friends'. plenty of time to jump in the shower or make up feeds. Bliss!!!
Tiny Love is guarantee for long engagement and fun December 5, 2007 E. Lagou (Athens, Greece) The very first toy we got for our (then) 2months old son, was this mobile from Tiny Love, after reading the reviews of many enthusiastic parents on sites all over the world (Germany, France, USA, Australia, Italy...) and trying a simple, boring (four brightly colored animals circling around) fisher-price mobile. By then we've got the double sided book, a 3D book, the activity center, fruity pals, stroller toys. I am definitely a fan of tiny love products... I would describe them in a few words as of high quality, sophisticated, stimulating, not boring even after a long play.
I like it, but I think the baby is still making up her mind... April 3, 2008 Impromptu mum (London) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
After overhearing a nursery nurse telling another patient at the hospital (speaking as a mother, rather than as a nurse) that this mobile was fantastic and that it could keep a baby entertained for 20 minutes, allowing mothers to do amazing things like have a quick morning shower, we finally bought this mobile. We were originally put off by the high price and lack of availability (being sold out of John Lewis and not stocked at Mothercare Marble Arch) but after some unsuccessful attempts to get it cheaper on ebay we gritted our teeth and bought it new. My boyfriend assembled it, not without a bit of difficulty and plenty of swearing. We were both impressed at the look of it, being bright but not garish and the animals having a cute look about them. We also liked the music, which doesn't sound as tinny as you would expect from a mobile. Although the mobile is very good I wouldn't say it was perfect, and I would also say that our (admittedly naively high) expectations may not have been entirely met. My mother warned me when I was enthusing about this new mobile that we'd ordered, that would entertain J while I showered etc, that babies aren't always fobbed off that easily. That is certainly true. The last two mornings, when I have put the mobile on over her in the hope of having two hands to get dressed and make breakfast, she has been delighted for a short time and then quickly dissolved into tears, needing to be picked up again. I would say though that I think it is worth carrying on with, and seeing how she continues to respond to it as she gets used to it. I find the music calming, even if she doesn't.
Pros & Cons of Tiny Love Mobile April 24, 2008 D. Mackenzie (UK) We bought this Tiny Love Symphony Light & Motion mobile after much debate as it was very costly as far as cot mobiles go ( 40, but I got it for 31 on a sale), so I didn't want to waste unnecessary money. However after reading all the brilliant reviews I was 100% convinced this was the mobile to get. The mobile itself as far as functions go is brilliant, the music is very soothing, and baby loves it! I used it from around 8 weeks and she was cooing and gurgling away at this, she is currently 11 weeks and still gets just as excited whenever we play it for her. The mobile has 3 differnt tunes: Mozart, Bach and Nature (which plays sounds of water, birds and music), the music sounds like a piano playing, I quite like the sound of them but my husband isn't quite so keen on the sound of a piano. You can hear a demo of the music on the tiny love website. Also you can play music alone, music and movement, music movement and light and movement alone by turning down the volume to mute. The volume control is very handy though I've never had to use it higher than the first setting and sometimes during the night it seems quite loud!! There is also a small water wheel on the mobile which is colourful. Bad points: As the other reviewers have pointed out this mobile is HUGE!!! I was not prepared for the size of it, and it really dominates the small crib I have it placed on at the moment. Also I am very disappointed (hence the 3 stars) that the plastic components broke very easily. 2 parts of the plastic broke and I had to glue back together, not what I expected from a 40 cot mobile. Also the mobile is VERY heavy and lob-sided, I have seen it collapse on top of the crib once, thankfully baby was not in it, but you must be very careful that the mobile is well tightened everytime. The toys are also very close to baby, so it probably won't be much longer until she can reach out and grab the toys, my fear if she does this is she will pull it onto her face and the whole mobile with collapse on top of her. On the whole I would recommend this mobile, but it is much more suited to a cot rather than a crib, I like the way it plays for 20 minutes as its fantastic for getting something done and it really does entertain baby. There are some flaws with it, too heavy and too big, neither did I like the assembly of it as I assembled it wrongly (I missed out on putting some of the toy rings onto the arms) and once it's assembed that's it pretty premenantly like that so I can't get the toys on right, however that's not really a major issue. I wouldn't pay 40 for it, but if you get it on a good price it's worth it!
